The Adventure Begins in the Castle of Karak
The dark silhouette of Castle Karak towers over a desolate, abandoned wasteland. Beneath its crumbling walls, deep underground, lies a dungeon that has long ceased to be a home for humans – yet it is certainly not empty. There, six heroes battle an endless horde of monsters in search of gold, glory, and fame.

What Kind of Game Is Karak?
Karak is an adventurous, family-friendly board game that combines role-playing fantasy, simple rules, and tense exploration. Players explore the dungeon beneath Castle Karak, building the map tile by tile as the game progresses and discovering what lurks in the darkness.
Each player takes on the role of one of six unique heroes, each with their own strengths and playstyle. Movement, combat, and decision-making are easy to learn, yet the game offers enough tension to keep even experienced players engaged.
Monsters, Treasure, and Equipment
The dungeon is crawling with monsters. Defeating them is not only dangerous, but also rewarding – victory grants the hero:
* new weapons and equipment,
* treasure and gold,
* the chance to open chests whose contents can significantly change the course of the game.
The deeper you venture into the dungeon, the more perilous the journey becomes. The bravest (or greediest) heroes will eventually face Karak’s greatest threat.
The Dragon – The Game’s Finale and Climax
At the heart of the dungeon dwells a terrifying dragon, the strongest monster in the game.
The moment a player defeats the dragon, the game immediately ends.
However, slaying the dragon does not automatically guarantee victory – it provides a significant advantage, but the final winner is determined only after counting the treasures.
Game Objective and Determining the Winner
The goal of the game is to collect as much treasure as possible.
* Each treasure (from chests or defeated enemies) is worth 1 victory point (VP)
* The dragon’s ruby is worth 1.5 VP
Once the dragon has been defeated, all players count their points.
? The hero with the most victory points wins the game.
